What's on at BDDA

At BDDA, our social activities are all about bringing people together, building confidence, and creating a sense of belonging.

Whether you’re looking to meet new people, try something different, or simply enjoy a relaxed and friendly environment, there’s something here for you.

 

Our sessions are inclusive, welcoming, and designed to support wellbeing, reduce isolation, and help you feel part of your community.

What’s On at BDDA

​

Morning sessions run from 11:00 – 12:30 and afternoon sessions run from 13:30 – 15:00.

 

Crafty Yarns & Cosy Corner

Bring along your crochet, knitting, or any creative project and enjoy a relaxed, friendly session. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this group is all about learning, chatting, and having fun together.
Every Tuesday | 11:00 – 12:30

 

Crafty Yarn Open Table

A flexible, drop-in style session for anyone who enjoys crafts. Come along, work on your own projects, meet others, and unwind in a welcoming space.
Every Tuesday | 13:30 – 15:00

 

Put The Kettle On

A warm and welcoming drop-in group where you can relax with a brew, have a chat, or simply enjoy some quiet time. Bring a book, a craft, or just yourself.
Every Thursday | 11:00 – 12:30

 

Tea & Tech Hub

Need help with your phone, tablet or laptop? From emails and online forms to learning new digital skills, this session is practical, friendly, and supportive.
Every Thursday | 13:30 – 15:00

 

Pause for Thought

A calm and supportive mindfulness group designed to help reduce stress, improve focus, and support emotional wellbeing.
Every Friday | 11:00 – 12:30

 

The Music Workshop

A fun and relaxed session where you can sing, play, or simply enjoy music with others. No experience needed — just come along and get involved.
Every Friday | 13:30 – 15:00
