There are lots of ways you can get involved with BDDA. The centre, although the focus for the delivery of our work with the disabled community, also fulfills a wider role as a centre for continued education and training, a venue for meetings and presentations and a straightforward place to get together with old and new friends.

Training & Education
Along with the varied programme of education and social events arranged for our disabled members, we host a range of training courses and craft workshops that are open to all to join. To find out more about these areas of our work, please click the courses link opposite.
Volunteering
A lot of the work undertaken by BDDA is undertaken by volunteers. At the centre we are always pleased to welcome approaches from anyone wishing to help us as a volunteer. For more details of how to get involved as a volunteer, please use the link opposite.
Fundraising
Like most charities BDDA needs to raise funds to ensure we can deliver our services. Unlike a lot of charities we do not have a big organisation in the background, everything we have achieved to date and everything we hope to achieve in the future depends upon the funds we as a small band of committed individuals can secure. If you’d like to know about the funding of BDDA and how to help, click the Fundraising link opposite.
Membership
Membership of BDDA is open to everyone and what’s better is it’s absolutely FREE! To enjoy the benefits of membership, including the excellent Willow Tree Cafe, please click the link opposite.
